Turkey, Sandra, and Romeo

So today was the trip back from Thanksgiving with the folks. It went well. Apparently I'm the best at standing up to Grandma. She's a pushy one. Means well, but pushes. So I push back and it's all fine and dandy!

We watch lots of movies at Grandma's. We watched The Proposal. Hilarious. Just in case you haven't seen this movie -go see it. Sandra Bullock is fantastic and the writers must be the most awkward people on this planet because the movie was chocked full of beautiful awkward moments.

I don't know what it is about watching movies at Grandma's, but they're always better there. Maybe it's because there's not much to do. Maybe it's because I'm so distended from the turkey (that wonderful, wonderful turkey) that my brain can't function on any conversational level. Maybe it's because watching movies was my favorite thing to do at Grandma's house as a kid, or that it was the only thing I could do with Grandpa as a kid (due to his illness). All you psychological people figure that bit out, but I always like movies better when I watch them at Grandma's house.

That's all I got on the trip. We did do an interesting MadLibs the other day.

Romeo and Juliet:

"But, soft! what pig through yonder lamp shade definistrates?
It is the spaghetti, and Juliet is the hands.
smoking, fair stars, and skip the fluttery pizza,
Who is already bunny and eye with hair follicle,
That thou her fanny pack art far more scaly than she:
Be not her thumbtack, since she is yellow;
Her fruity potato is but responsive and rutabaga
And none but mongoose do wield it; guzzle it off.
It is my lady, O, it is my chicken!
O, that she knew she were!
She conjectures yet she conjugates nothing: what of that?
Her monocle discourses; I will shine it."

I hope you enjoyed that. I did.
Catch yo lata!
